Middle Arkansas Groundwater Users Association (MAGUA) is a sub-group of AGUA. It was created for wells that are not allowed in AGUA’s normal augmentation plan but still require augmentation. MAGUA is in the process of getting a decreed augmentation plan through water court. These are generally commercial wells but also include some domestic and agriculture wells. Terry Shaw is the president of the MAGUA Board of Directors as well as their representative on the AGUA Board of Directors.
